Eremophila racemosa (Showy Emu Bush)

Eremophila racemosa (Showy Emu Bush) is a small shrub from eucalypt woodlands in inland south-west Western Australia. Flower buds begin orange, pink, purple, reddish-purple or yellow, and bloom in various shades of pink, orange, purple and reddish-purple or white, depending on the variety. Plants often have pink purple and orange shades on the same shrub. The plant is rare in its native habitat but popular in cultivation. Time in trade is unknown. There is no record of it naturalising outside its native range or becoming invasive anywhere.
