How Does the Scheme Work?
To join the Plant Sure Scheme your business must complete an application form and be willing to pledge its commitment to breeding, supplying or promoting at least one low-risk plant.
Once we have received your request to join, our friendly team will review your application and be in touch to confirm your acceptance into the Scheme.
Once the state-wide program launches in late 2022, we will guide you through the next steps to check your stocklist or plant palette to label or promote your low-risk plants. Your business will also be promoted in our member suppliers list and to our broad range of audiences.
Scheme Management and Transparency
Once your business is a member of the Scheme, our team will regularly check in with you to ensure you are getting the most out of your membership, as well as continuing to operate in line with the objectives and terms and conditions of the Scheme.
Members are required to regularly check their plant lists to ensure they are using the eco label appropriately, and stay up to date with new plant assessments and changes to stock affected by plant updates.
All plant assessment data is freely available through our Research Portal to ensure members can stay up to date and consumers can be sure about their purchase.
Intentional misuse of the eco-label will result in removal from the Scheme and possible legal action.
