Crinum pedunculatum (Swamp Lily, Spider Lily)

Crinum pedunculatum (Swamp Lily) is a perennial bulbous herb with large light green sword shaped leaves. Flowers are large and fragrant with narrow white petals. Swamp Lily is native to coastal areas of northern and eastern Australia (NT, Qld and NSW) including offshore islands. This species prefers full sun to part shade and tolerates wet to dry soils. Plant reproduces by seed which can sometimes germinate while still attached to the plant. This species is not recorded as naturalised outside its native range or invasive anywhere.
