Corymbia ptychocarpa (Swamp Bloodwood, Spring Bloodwood)

Corymbia ptychocarpa (Swamp Bloodwood) is a small evergreen tree native to northern Australia (WA, NT and Qld). It is one parent of the popular WA flowering gum hybrids. It is planted in parks and as a street tree in Queensland. Swamp Bloodwood has showing creamy yellow, pink or red flowers and prefers open forests near streams and moist areas. Time in trade is unknown. It is not recorded as naturalised outside its native range or invasive anywhere.
