Banksia serrata (Old Man Banksia)

Banksia serrata is a small to medium, evergreen tree with warty bark and tough serrated leaves. Old Man Banksia features golden yellow flowers pikes in Autumn, followed by knobbly cones. It is native to NSW, QLD, Vic and Tas. It has not naturalised outside its native range or become invasive anywhere. It has been in the ornamental trade in Australia since 1851.
