Agave ‘Blue Glow’ (Blue Glow Agave)

(Agave attenuata x Agave ocahui)

Agave ‘Blue Glow’ is a compact succulent with a dense rosette of deep blue-green leaf blades rimmed with red margins and yellow edges. It is slow growing with a mature size of 60 x 90cm. It takes 10-20 years to reach maturity. Like other Agaves it will then flower once and die. It is a hybrid of Agave attenuata and A. ocahui. It has been in cultivation since 2005. It is not recorded as naturalised or invasive anywhere. It suits a location with dry, rocky soil in full sun.
