Agastache foeniculum (Anise Hyssop, Blue Giant Hyssop)

Agastache foeniculum is a short-lived perennial herb with upright habit, aniseed-scented leaves and blue tubular flowers. It is native to central-northern North America. It is unknown how long it has been in the nursery trade in Australia, but is widely cultivated in North America and Europe as a culinary and medicinal herb, and pollinator attracting flower. There is no evidence that it is invasive anywhere and no strong evidence that it has naturalised anywhere. Reproduction is predominantly via seed, but it may also spread by rhizomes.
