(Eugenia australis, Jambosa australis, Myrtus australis)

This rainforest tree is native to Queensland and New South Wales. It is unknown how long it has been in the plant trade, but it has not become naturalised anywhere in Australia outside its native range. However, it is recorded as naturalised and invasive in New Zealand. It can reach a height of up to 35 meters and produces white flowers and pink edible fruits.
