Senecio anethifolius (Feathery Groundsel; Rock Grounsel)

(Senecio anethifolius subsp. anethifolius, Senecio angustilobus)

This erect shrub is native to New South Wales and South Australia. It can reach a height of 50-100cm. It is unknown how long it has been in the ornamental trade but it has not become naturalised or invasive anywhere in Australia or the world. It produces yellow flower heads in dense groups of 15 to 100-150 at the end of the stems. Fruits are achenes carrying one seed each with pappus (wind dispersed).
