(Pandanus baptistii)This tree is a native to the Pacific region and the Philippines, including QLD and NSW in Australia. The species has been in the ornamental plant trade since 1901 and has not become naturalised outside its native range. There is no evidence to indicate that the species is invasive anywhere in the world. Pandanus tectorius reproduces by animal-dispersed seed and vegetatively by suckers. Pandanus Palm is a tropical tree with buttress style roots.
