Melaleuca ericifolia (Swamp Paperbark)

This small tree or perennial shrub, which grows 8 m tall, is native Australia (NSW, VIC and TAS) and grows along stream banks in heath and dry sclerophyll forest, and in low-lying coastal swamps. It has been in the ornamental plant trade in Australia since 1851 and is not known to have naturalised outside of its native range nor become invasive anywhere.
