(Halgania preissiana, Halgania strigosa)This perennial shrub, which grows to 40-60 cm, is native to most of Australia. Although this species has been in the ornamental plant trade in Australia since 1969, it is not known to have become naturalised nor invasive anywhere. Mallee Blue Flower grows from underground suckers. This species has intense blue flowers, mainly in spring. It is a drought tolerant species.
