Grevillea juniperina (Juniper-leaf Grevillea, Prickly Spider-flower)

This medium shrub, which grows to 2.5 m tall, has a native distribution that ranges from QLD, through NSW and the ACT. It is it considered a Vulnerable in NSW. Plants are killed by fire and propagation is via seed that has been exposed to smoke and heat, or cuttings. This species has been in the ornamental plant trade in Australis since 1883 and is not known to have naturalised nor become invasive anywhere. There are many cultivars (both selected forms and hybrids) which have been developed from this species.
