Grevillea caleyi (Caley's Grevillea, Fern Leaf Grevillea)

(Stylurus caleyi, Grevillea blechnifolia)

This medium to tall shrub, which grows to 4 m tall, has a native distribution that is restricted to an 8 km square area around Terry hills, NSW. Since 2014 is it considered a Critically Endangered species. Plants take 2-5 years to flower and only 3% of flowers set seed. Plants are killed by fire and propagation is via seed. This species has been in the ornamental plant trade in Australis since 1843 and is not known to have naturalised nor become invasive anywhere.
