Corymbia maculata (Spotted Gum)

(Eucalyptus maculata)

This tall tree, which grows to 45 m tall, is native to the open forests of NSW and parts of VIC. Although Spotted Gum has been in the ornamental plant trade in Australia since 1898 it is not known to have become invasive anywhere. It has, however, become naturalised outside of its native range within Australia (i.e. WA, SA (doubtfully naturalised), and VIC (native and naturalised).
