Correa pulchella (Salmon Correa)

(Correa minor, C. reflexa var. pulchella)

Correa pulchella is a small, sometimes prostrate, shrub native to South Australia. Tubular flowers are dark pink to red in colour. It’s endemic to alkaline soils near the coast and grows best where summers are hot and dry. This species is the parent of several cultivars. There is no evidence that the species has naturalised or become invasive.
