Carpobrotus rossii is a perennial groundcover endemic to the south and west coast of Australia (Vic, Tas, SA, WA). It is a prostrate plant with stems up to 1m long covered in succulent leaves that are flattened triangular in cross-section. Flowers are white, pink or mauve and red fruit is edible. It thrives in exposed coastal sites, particularly on sand dunes. It is not recorded as naturalised or invasive anywhere.
