Syzygium australe ‘Resilience’ (Lilly Pilly; Lilly Pilly Resilience; Syzygium Resilience)

This native cultivar is a fast-growing large evergreen shrub that can reach up to 5 meters tall. Its name derives from its resistance to psyllid attack. It produces white flowers in spring followed by white fleshy berries in the warmer months. The parent species Syzygium australe is native to QLD and NSW and has not become naturalised anywhere in Australia outside its native range, although is considered an environmental weed in New Zealand. Stability was inferred through time in plant trade.
