This cultivar is a large shrub or tree which grows to 6-8m. This form is likely to have a rare chromosomal anomaly called tetraploidy, and is larger and more vigorous in all respects than the normal form. The diameter of the cultivar’s fruit (30mm) is larger than the parent’s (15mm) and the cultivar’s leaves are 1.5 times to twice as long as the parent form. The cultivar naturally occurs on Mt Caroline (Kellerberrin) WA and was received by the Australian Cultivar Registration Authority on 12 March 1976.
