Callistemon salignus ‘Great Balls of Fire’
Callistemon salignus ‘Great Balls of Fire’ is a small evergreen native shrub to 1-3m. This cultivar is grown for its bright pink to red new growth which is borne on a very compact, bun-shaped shrub. It rarely produces flowers. It has been in cultivated since 1990 and has undergone PBR plant trials. There is no evidence of the cultivar naturalising or becoming invasive.
