Zoysia tenuifolia (Temple Grass)

This species is a perennial grass native to southeast Asia. It is not widely used as a lawn grass because of its slow growth rate. There is no data on how long it has been traded in Australia. It is noted as naturalised in parts of USA with climatic conditions similar to parts of NSW. However, there is no evidence of it being invasive anywhere in the world.
