Hebe buxifolia (Box Leaf Hebe)

This perennial shrub is native to New Zealand. It has been in the ornamental trade in Australia since 1880 and has not naturalised. There is no evidence of the species being naturalised or invasive anywhere else in the world. Climate match shows that some parts of NSW have climatic conditions similar to that of its native range. Hebe buxifolia is a compact shrub with dark evergreen leaves and small clusters of white flowers.
