Felicia amelloides (Blue Daisy)
Blue Daisy is usually a perennial herb or shrublet. The species is native to the Eastern and Western Cape Provinces of South Africa. Despite being in the ornamental trade in Australia since 1886, the species has not naturalised. There is also no evidence the species has naturalised elsewhere outside its native range. Blue Daisy is hardy, fast growing and long flowering. The showy blue flowers may appear year-round. Reproduction is via seed with seeds dispersed by wind. The flowers attract butterflies and bees.
