Chrysanthemum pacificum (Pacific Chrysanthemum)

(Ajania pacifica)

This perennial herb is native to Japan. There is no data on how long it has been traded in Australia. However, there are no records suggesting that it has become either naturalised or invasive anywhere in the world. The species spreads by rhizomes and seed. These is some degree of climate similarity between its native range and some parts of NSW.
