Chamaedorea elegans (Bamboo Palm, Palour Palm)

This shrub is a popular ornamental palm which is native to the rainforests of North and Central America (including Mexico, Guatemala, and Belize). Parlour Palm is one of the most commonly sold houseplant palms in the world. There is a single reference to it being invasive in Cuba, but no data to support the reference. It has not been reported as naturalised or invasive in any other country. It produces viable seed which could be spread by birds.
