Cercis chinensis (Chinese Redbud)

This is a deciduous tree, native to the woodlands, thickets and slopes in central to southern China. Chinese Redbud usually grows as a large shrub or small multi-stemmed tree in cultivation. It is similar looking to Cercis canadensis. It is not recorded as naturalised or invasive anywhere in the world.
