Agave geminiflora (Two-flowered Agave)

(Littaea geminiflora)

Agave geminiflora, commonly known as twin-flowered agave, is a pin-cushion type succulent that features numerous fine-textured, needle-tipped, dark green leaves which spread outward from the centre of the plant to form a dense, rounded, symmetrical rosette <1m high. It flowers once after 10-14 years when grown outside. Popular in landscaping, there is no evidence that it is naturalised or invasive anywhere.
