(Alcantarea imperialis 'Silver Plum')Vriesea ‘Silver Plum’ (syn. Alcantarea ‘Silver Plum’) is a large rosette forming perennial herb with powdery grey-green foliage obverse, deep red / plum reverse. It has been in cultivation since 2002 and there is no evidence of it naturalising. It is not reported as naturalised or invasive overseas. The parent species was assessed as a low risk exotic plant.
