Salvia ‘Hot Lips’ (Sage Hot Lips)

( Salvia microphylla 'Hot Lips')

‘Hot Lips’ is a very popular shrub cultivar from Salvia x jamensis. The cultivar is not naturalised anywhere in Australia or the world. Neither the cultivar nor the parents presents invasive behaviour. Salvia x jamensis is a naturally occurring cross. More information on reproduction is needed. ‘Hot Lips’ has flowers that change colour depending on the temperature. They vary from red in summer to red and white in July/August, to almost completely white from spring to early autumn.
