Magnolia grandiflora ‘Little Gem’
Magnolia ‘Little Gem’ is a dwarf cultivar of the tree Magnolia grandiflora. It reaches a maximum height of 6m. It produces large white fragrant flowers. The parent species is native to North America and the cultivar has been in the Australian plant trade for many years without becoming naturalised. There is no evidence of it being naturalised or invasive in Australia or elsewhere in the world.
