Lysimachia congestiflora ‘Midnight Sun’ (Black Moneywort)

This cultivar was developed in Australia. The parent species is native to Nepal, China and Taiwan and there is no evidence that this cultivar has naturalised in Australia or that it is invasive anywhere in the world. It is a groundcover herb known for its dark coloured foliage (plum to black) which contrasts with clusters of lemon-yellow flowers during spring.
