Ficus lyrata ‘Bambino’ (Dwarf Fiddle Leaf Fig)

This exotic cultivar is a dwarf version of the parent species tree Ficus lyrata. Native to Western and Central Africa, the parent species has not naturalised in Australia and there is no evidence of invasive behaviour anywhere in the world. It is an ideal house plant, however if leaves or stems are cut the sap (latex) will flow and is considered poisonous (especially for children and animals). Contains allergens that may result in asthma symptoms.
