Dracaena marginata ‘Black Knight’ (Madagascar Dragon Tree, Red Edge Dracaena)

This exotic cultivar presents sword-like green leaves with reddish-purple margins. When fully developed this slow-growing tree can reach 3 – 4 meters. The parent species, Dracaena marginata, is not naturalised in Australia and not detected as invasive anywhere in the world. The stability of this cultivar has been inferred via time in plant trade. ‘Black Knight’ cultivar is a low maintenance plant with dark red-burgundy edged leaves.
