Buxus microphylla ‘Faulkner’ (Japanese box, Buxus Faulkner)

This exotic cultivar is an evergreen shrub. The parent species Buxus microphylla is native to Taiwan and Japan. The parent has been in the Australian trade since 1873 and has not become naturalised in that time, and there is no evidence of invasive behaviour anywhere in the world. Buxus microphylla ‘Faulkner’ is a stable cultivar with Plant Breeder’s Rights (PBRs). It has dense, glossy evergreen leaves and is an ideal small hedge, growing to 60cm.
