Betula pendula ‘Alba’ (Silver Birch)
Betula pendula ‘Alba’ is a weeping deciduous exotic cultivar with a white trunk, pendulous branches and silvery green foliage. This tree reaches a maximum height of 10-15 meters. It produces inconspicuous flowers (catkins), with no evidence of seed production or vegetative reproduction. The parent species is doubtfully naturalised in ACT, NSW and TAS, and recorded as invasive in New Zealand and the United States.
