Poa labillardierei (Common Tussock-grass)

Poa labillardierei (Common Tussock-grass) is a perennial coarsely tufted grass to 120 cm. Common tussock grass is native to southern and eastern Australia including Tasmania. It has not naturalised outside of this range and is not known to be invasive anywhere globally. Poa labillardierei is a low maintenance plant with greyish-green or blue-green leaves. The flower heads extend above the leaves and provide an attractive green-purple colour over spring. This grass grows in full sun but prefers light shade and is drought and frost tolerant.
