Petunia axillaris (White Petunia) is a herbaceous annual from temperate South America. It produces large white flowers which are fragrant at night to attract moth pollinators. It is one parent of Petunia x hybrida. Petunia axillaris has naturalised in Australia (NSW, Qld and SA) and several other countries. It reproduces by seed. Plants are killed by frost. There is no evidence that the species is considered invasive anywhere.
