Pinus palustris (Longleaf Pine, Southern Yellow Pine)

Pinus palustris (Longleaf Pine) is an evergreen coniferous tree to 35m. It is from south-eastern United States of America and has been cultivated in Australia since 1803. It has been grown in plantations as a lumber and pulpwood tree. It is recorded as naturalised in the Warren IBRA region of south west Western Australia. There is no evidence that it is invasive anywhere in the world.
