Centratherum punctatum (Lark Daisy) is a perennial herb from South America. It has a cosmopolitan distribution that may reflect historical trade routes rather than natural distribution. It has naturalised in Qld and NSW and is considered invasive in several places including New Caledonia, Galapagos Islands, Puerto Rico, Hawaii. It spreads easily by wind-dispersed seed, and contaminated garden waste. Plants flower over several months.
