Viburnum odoratissimum ‘Dense Fence’ is a selected form of Viburnum odoratissimum that is shorter and more compact. It has been in cultivation since 2013 and has PBR status. The parent species has become naturalised in Australia, but there is no evidence that it is invasive anywhere. Viburnum ‘Dense’ Fence’ is an evergreen perennial shrub with ovate lime green leaves that have a reddish tinge on the new growth and fragrant white flowers in spring. It is recommended for screening and hedges 2-2.5m high.
