Plectranthus parviflorus (Cockspur Flower)

Plectranthus parviflorus is a spreading, perennial herb that produces clusters of erect succulent stems. It has a small tuberous rootstock, which may be edible. Leaves are broad and toothed and flower spikes have small blue tubular flowers. The plant is easily confused with other species in the genera, both native and exotic. It is native to Qld, NSW and Victoria, as well as Malaysia and several Pacific Islands. It is not reported as invasive anywhere in Australia.
