Pandorea jasminoides (Bower Vine)

(Tecoma jasminoides)

Pandorea jasminoides (Bower Vine) is a vigorous perennial climber with attractive pink flowers. It is native to the tropical and subtropical rainforests and warm temperate areas of NSW and Qld. There are several cultivars. The species spreads by windblown seed. There is emerging evidence that Bower Vine has become naturalised in Western Australia, and possibly Victoria. This plant is considered low risk for NSW. The roots are vigorous.
