Magnolia x alba (White Champaca) is a hybrid of Magnolia champaca and M. montana. It is an evergreen tree with fragrant white flowers and lime green leaves, similar in appearance and behaviour to M. champaca. Both parents have been assessed as low risk of invasiveness. This cultivar is also traded as Michelia x alba. Given the lack of data about time in trade and changing classification of the genus, this cultivar is conditionally accepted and should be reassessed in 3 years.
