Lomandra confertifolia
(Xerotes confertifolia)Lomandra confertifolia (syn. Xerotes confertifolia) is a perennial tufted plant with grass-like leaves 30-70cm long. It is native to Qld, NSW and Vic. There are several subspecies differing slightly in leaf length and colour. This species is also the parent of several cultivars used in gardens and landscaping. The species has small cream flowers that are fragrant, and reproduces by seed. There is no record of the species naturalising beyond its native range or becoming invasive.
