Juniperus sabina (Savin Juniper)
Juniperus sabina is a scrambling evergreen coniferous shrub to 5m high. It has silvery-green foliage. The leaves and berries are aromatic when crushed, but toxic. It is native to central and southern Europe and western Asia. Savin Juniper has been in trade in Australia since 1806 and has not become naturalised.
